Last week, 7 For All Mankind were thrilled to take part in the Elephant Parade in Milan, a charity event sponsored by the Milan Culture Council and the Italian Fashion Council. The aim is to raise awareness and funds for the Asian Elephant Foundation – these incredible animals are threatened by extinction, and the city celebrates their natural beauty through arts, culture, design and fashion.

After opening our first flagship store on via Manzoni in Milan last summer, we were keen to join in the event and create something truly unique. Our contribution was L.A. Star, a beautiful Elephant statue created from denim by artist Vincenzo Marsiglia. Marsiglia’s inspiration was drawn from the 4-pointed star, combined with the luxurious denim and trademark squiggle that is 7 For All Mankind’s signature to create a majestic, minimalist work of art.

L.A. Star will be at piazza San Bablia for 2 months from the 16^th September – pop along to see him, and don’t forget to Tweet us a photo or leave a comment on our Facebook wall and let us know what you think!

7 For All Mankind were thrilled to take part in this year’s global celebration of all things fashion, Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. Our stores in Berlin, Dusseldorf, London and Milan stayed open after hours to enjoy drinks, music and some fashion gossip with 7 For All Mankind fans. If you couldn’t make it along to the events, take a look at what went on here…

The evening kicked off with cocktails, bubbly, snacks and exclusive DJ sets as we welcomed guests into the stores.

Visitors had the chance to browse the latest styles and cuts from our Fall Winter 11 collection whilst chatting about their favourite denim looks.

There was also a chance to pick up a limited-edition silk scarf, designed especially for Fashion’s Night Out. The beautiful colours were inspired by the Santa Monica Pier, a reminder of 7 For All Mankind’s Californian heritage.
