Keeping cool in the summer

Whether poolside with your buddies or on a city trip with your girlfriend, wearing your favourite 7 For All Mankind styles in the summer heat can be quite a feat. But don't get worked up in a sweat! We've selected some of our favourite denim wearers to show you how to stay cool whatever the weather.

A lightweight denim shirt casually thrown over tonal light blue jeans – as per Australian model Adin Taylor's curbside look will keep you breezy from day to night.

Speaking of breezy, a distressed pair of jeans provides the best natural form of ventilation (cool knees, cool attitude!) especially whilst doing your favourite summer activity like Dennis Beli, shown here skateboarding with friends. Pair yours with our white tee and plaid shirt for when it cools off at night, creating the perfect casual look.

And of course, we couldn't talk about summer denim without mentioning white jeans. These style stalwarts are the perfect way to freshen up your look, and will go with everything in your wardrobe. Here, Sydney-based Jono pairs his perfectly with a denim shirt.

Another off-colour option are light-weight cotton twills like chino trousers, as worn by Riley Harper. We like how the Californian actor has paired his with a simple grey t-shirt whilst hanging out at the Chateau Marmont in Beverly Hills. Casual L.A. dressing at its finest!

Alternatively, you can also opt for a black jeans and keep cool by not wearing anything else — just add a guitar to rock out like singer Cody Simpson.

Last but not least, your summer wardrobe isn't complete without a good pair of denim shorts for those beach escapes and hot days in the city. We love how Dutch DJ Yuki Kempees has contrasted his with a black long sleeve shirt and bandana.
